Sheer Africa educates stakeholders at VGMA music business masterclass in Ghana

VGMA Music Business Masterclass
Sheer Publishing Africa partnered with the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) music business masterclass held at the Alisa Hotel in Accra to educate stakeholders in the music industry about maximising revenue.

Madam Kefiloe Molefe, a Copyright Administrator at Sheer Publishing Africa, spoke about the need to educate stakeholders on licensing their works to boost earnings. She also highlighted the difference between music publishing and distribution, urging artistes to join publishing platforms to collect royalties from their registered and licensed songs.

Shiro Mwendwa, Head of Creative and Licencing at Sheer Africa, educated music stakeholders about synchronisation music licensing.

The stakeholders expressed satisfaction with the knowledge gained and were grateful to Charterhouse for creating the masterclass platform.
