Sheer Publishing’s Innovation for Music Industry Growth in SA and Beyond

Sheer Publishing, a subsidiary of Downtown Music Services group hosted an intimate industry gathering, bringing together some of the latest and greatest talents in the music industry in South Africa and globally.

At the Sheer Publishing Africa partnered with the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) music business event, guests included multi-award-winning composer Neill Solomon and Nomfundo Moh, while the President of Downtown Music, Pieter van Rijn, was the guest of honour. Van Rijn spoke about the direction of Sheer Publishing and introduced Downtown Music’s services, which will soon be available to African creators. Thando Makhunga expressed her excitement at hosting the gathering and providing a platform for African music creators, supported by Downtown Music’s capabilities. “With the backing of Downtown Music, we are well-positioned to continue to expand our reach and impact in the industry,” she said.
