For many years, Robert graced Sheer Publishing Africa as a cherished client, leaving an indelible mark as a composer, producer, and musician of unparalleled skill and vision.
Rob’s impact on the industry was profound, having nurtured and propelled artists like Ringo Madlingozi and Mango Groove to multi-platinum success. His compositions which are a tapestry of emotion and innovation, featured in over 12,000 TV, cinema, and radio commercials, many of which garnered prestigious awards, both locally and internationally.
Yet, beyond his achievements, Robert will be remembered for his boundless creativity and unwavering dedication to his craft. He possessed a rare gift of storytelling through music, earning him the reputation of having a “musical solution to every problem”.
Throughout his extensive career, Rob served not only as a luminary in his field but also as a mentor, generously sharing his expertise and passion with countless aspiring talents. Alongside his esteemed team at Robroy Music, he stood as a pillar of excellence, through his musical contribution to the South African advertising industry.
