The WAWELA Music Awards were held at Monte Casino on the 26th of June 2015. The main idea of these awards is to acknowledge and recognise our songwriters, composers and publishers who have lit up International & local stages, screens and airwaves. It also celebration South African Music creator’s accomplishments on international and local stage particular defined period.
The Wawela Music Awards (WMAs) showcased the music industry’s best in the business where music composition and song-writing is concerned. Amongst all other winners were our writers who won the following categories:
Best Creative Album of the Year – Mi Casa
Best Song or Composition in a Television Commercial – Jeremy Loops
Best Song or Composition in a Radio Commercial – Alun Richards
Breaking through the Borders award – Jonathan Butler
