When the nominees where announced for the 19th Annual South African Music Awards on the 20th of March 2013, Sheer Publishing was really proud of its composers for the hard work they have done and there is nothing better than accolades from your peers in the industry.
Robbie and Mjakes have done it again, producing three time nominated Kelly Khumalo’s album, which includes “Album of the year” among its nominations.
MC Music administered by Sheer Publishing client Crighton Goodwill has bagged two nominations for “Best Producer” and “Best Engineer” for his impeccable work on the Chiano Sky album which received four nominations altogether.
Hot boy doing it large, Kabomo who is a singer, songwriter and producer extraordinaire has received a nomination for his second album.
What would a music awards show be without the mention of the ever talented Zahara who received a nomination for “Best Collobaration” for her work with the Soweto Gospel Choir and Leroy Bell of the USA, she also received recognition for her amazing Live DVD. Stable mate Riot bagged a nomination for his work with Zahara on the ever popular track “Thetha Nami”. With two nominations, the dynamic co-composer team of Tshepo Sekele and Petrus Victor Mngomezulu working with Lira has proven to be a winning combination yet again.
